Is ALRC a registered nonprofit organization?

A: Yes. Asaba Literacy and Reading Club (ALRC) is registered with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as a nonprofit organization. How do I join ALRC as a member?

A: Visit our Community page and complete the membership form. Membership is free for individuals and youth under 18. Our Community Engagement Team will reach out within 48 hours to welcome you and share next steps. Go to Community Page

Does ALRC operate outside Asaba?

A: Yes. ALRC currently operates in-person programs in Asaba and Delta State, with an active chapter in Lagos established in 2025. Online participation is available nationwide. We are actively expanding – contact us if you are interested in establishing an ALRC chapter in your city.
